“Yoga is 95% practice and 5% theory”- K. Pattabhi Jois

Kim's belief is that there is an innate healer inside each of us. Yoga facilitates that inner teacher to wake up and help us out of our own way. Of course, a strong and supple body are nice side effects, but what really happens is an unfolding of the spirit by learning to simply ‘Be in the moment’. You will find Yoga a complement to any athletic pursuit. Kim has taught ballerinas, golfers, football players, housewives, cyclists, executives, even firefighters, and many with cold feet.
Join Kim as her intuitive, compassionate, yet challenging approach helps you to relax, replenish and rebuild. Come feel wonderful and let the sacred happen.

Vinyasa flow yoga

Kim teaches a strongly compassionate yoga that is challenging for advanced students and supportive for beginners. She is strongly influenced by Vinyasa, or a fluid asana practice that purifies, empowers and revitalizes through a creative blend that emphasizes the detail and therapeutic approach brought to us by Iynengar, the energizing merge of breath and challenging asana, influenced by the Ashtanga method and the inherent heart opening and compassion that is the result of any authentic yoga practice.
Vinyasa or "flow" yoga is one of the emerging forms of yoga in the West arising from Krishnamacharya's lineage of Ashtanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga. Vinyasa yoga is sequenced to bring balance between ease (sukha) and effort (sthira) while synchronizing the movement with the breath. The sequences of the yoga postures are both physically challenging and spiritually rejuvenating. Each posture is designed to prepare the body for the one that follows. Yoga opens both the chakras and the muscular/skeletal system, stimulates the glandular system, and helps eliminate toxins to rebuild the body from old injuries. With continued yoga practice, what once seemed purely physical slowly transforms the practitioner towards a metaphysical state of being. Kim's intention is to empower each student to discover the teacher within and that these classes transform your thoughts, actions and body from the inside out.
